Scholarship Entrepreneur Program
Mercy Institute Career Development for Women partners with Bakke Graduate University and the Executive Entrepreneur Coaching Program to equip women entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders with the knowledge, tools, coaching, and strategic guidance needed to turn vision into sustainable impact.
We understand that many women have the passion and the vision but need the education, skills, and resources to move forward.
That is why Mercy Institute Career Development for Women offers scholarships to women for the Entrepreneur Coaching program. Our scholarships remove financial barriers so more women can gain access to high-quality coaching, training, and professional development.
Scholarship recipients participate in a structured six-week coaching experience, followed by an additional session focused on outcomes and next steps. The program combines individualized executive coaching, collaborative learning and practical entrepreneurial tools that allow each participant to work on the specific needs and goals of her business or nonprofit organization.
Participants receive guidance from experienced executive coaches under the direction of Dr. Scholastica Olagungu while developing practical strategies they can immediately apply to strengthen their leadership, organizational capacity, and long-term sustainability.
Our goal is for women to leave the program not simply inspired, but better equipped to build, lead, grow, and sustain what they have been called to create.

As Director of the Bakke Graduate University (BGU) Executive MBA Program and Executive Coaching Program, it has been a privilege to partner with Mercy Institute in advancing entrepreneurship coaching for women. Through Dr. Robinetta Murray’s doctoral research and our collaborative program design, we launched a group coaching model that will have supported three cohorts of women by September, with remarkable success.
Women entrepreneurs often navigate environments that challenge their confidence, agency, and sense of purpose. The Mercy Institute–BGU partnership provides a research driven coaching framework that strengthens their resilience, moral agency, and long-term capacity for flourishing. The growth we have witnessed, both in the women and in the program itself, demonstrates the transformative impact of structured, values based coaching.
